The Kirundo project for the construction of the house for the Doctrinaries community and for the rooms for catechesis continues in phases, but the first big step has been taken. The house of the fathers dedicated to Father Santoro was inaugurated on March 9th.
The works, which began at the end of May 2023, are almost finished. We encountered many difficulties but they did not prevent us from continuing to the current level. I have no doubt that this happened thanks to the prayers of the people who love us and who will accompany us until the entire project is completed. And also thanks to the goodness and generosity of those who knew Father Ludovico Santoro and who want the good of our religious family.
Today the house can be inhabited, although something is still missing. Much remains to be done to complete the project, but we are confident that our presence in Kirundo and the start of the pastoral service will stimulate the inhabitants to move the work forward quickly. We are happy to start and the population is eager to have a church nearby and priests nearby because the parish church is very far away.
As we proceed to complete the house already inhabited and we will continue the work on the catechesis hall which will initially also serve as a church. We rely on the maternal intercession of the Madonna and Saint Caesar without forgetting the spiritual support of Father Ludovico Santoro

Training course for catechists
New project in Burundi to finance the training course for catechists. Once the preparation has been completed, the catechist will be able to support the Doctrinaries in the catechetical journey of the younger ones and at the same time count on a small salary to guarantee the support of their family in Kirundo and Gitega.
