During Lent last year the children of the catechism class, the students of the La Salle St Charles school, the young people and all the parishioners of Cavaillon supported the missions of the congregation of the Fathers of Christian Doctrine in Burundi.
This year the project continues to build a multipurpose room in Gitega, which will host catechism and the boys and girls who live on the hill and who do not have electricity at home: so they will be able to review their lessons when darkness falls. The room will also be used for celebrations.
Construction will be completed during the year with the installation of windows, tiles and furniture.
